So, This is the end of what we see of Stephen for a bit, twin zaniness will follow. If you haven't put it together already, Stephen's purpose will be cleared up in a bit. Anyway, I know you really can't read this in Safari, but I don't have a mac, and I have NO idea how to fix it. If you have any ideas let me know. For now though, This website is best viewed in IE or FIREFOX.
Hopefully this is all working correctly by now, I've used a webediting program to update more easily and to make a slight template change. I hope it looks better, but I'm not quite done tweaking it yet. I'm still planning on making a new banner up top, a new picture to the right > and possibly making new buttons for the navigation bar. I've put it in a new format, so as long as I keep it the same size updating it will be an absolute breeze. And fear not! The new program is still based on hand-htmling but it's got some neato features that allow you to see what you're doing to the page as you type to make table/cell battles a little easier, and to prevent the issuification of fucking my page alignment up the ass sideways. That and I can actually make a template by hand for once. Holy crap, that's about the single largest web/update at any one single time. OH and don't forget the new and death filled update. And if you find any broken links or something, please please please please please please please let me know about them.

Updated and stuff... Whoo... Anyway, what I really wanted to say is this: Things are going to get kinda graphic here in about ohhh... 2 pages. There's going to be drama and horror and mind-fucking galore. I'm serious people. This isn't just my usual hype of "OMFG I R SO KEWL" I'm giving you all a warning if you for some reason don't like blood or the thought of children being hurt (the real world is a bitch, seriously) then well, I don't know what to tell you because you should still read it because it won't be all bloody and dramatic and scary and sad for long, it's just to help set the stage of the new character. If I'm not making a whole hell of a lot of sense, that's ok because it will all become clearer shortly.
So they are a bit shabby, but I have BIOS up now, click on the Bios button to see them and let me know what you think. I also now have a fully functional FORUM, You can use it to contact me easier, and it only takes about two seconds to register on.
Well, not much exciting news other than the forum is still working and I've updated and still on track as far as updates go. Only other thing is... I have new fanart to show off! Go check it out! It's totally cool and it will rock your socks off! GO SEE! LOOK!
The big news for today is this: I am back on track for updates, and should be from now on (god I hope so my daily hits were starting to suffer) and I've decided the chat room sucks ass, so it's gone if you haven't noticed, but I've replaced it with a forum. OK, I know you're all gonna hate me, but know that stupidass chatroom I had up? well it caused my computer to crash, and in the process of the crashing it ate the latest page. Friday's update has gone out the window. That's ok. I'm gonna save it and use the opportunity to get ahead of the game for once. Or maybe I'll see this as a sign to take it down to maybe one update a week, or get a different program since gimp got eatten along with the file... yeah...
Well, I've finally gotten the Project Wonderful code and installed it. And I've decided the background was a little too dark, so I lightened it a bit. And I've also cleaned up all the old updates, so no more junk cluttering up. I'm still waiting on people's responses about their link exchange from drunkduck, I'm hoping to get a few of them moved over, but I don't want to do anything without their permission. I've also asked a few more people if they want to be part of a link exchange. I always feel like a spammer when I do that, but if someone were to ask me if I wanted a free link spot on their website in return for one on theirs, I'd jump all over it, so I guess I shouldn't feel TOO Bad right? Anyway, without feeling too bad about this because it's my own space, if you have a comic and would like to join the link exchange, drop me an email at [email protected] and let me know.
So, my big change for the year so far is a chat room. It's a bit slow, but just give it a min or two to load properly and it's fine from there. I'll probably be changing it eventually to something a little faster, but for now I'll just play with this.
I've decided to do a preview page using gimp for inking and coloring. Check it out at the current page and let me know what you think. Is it an improvement, a step back, same level of quality, do I just suck in general or does anything I do rule? |
